In januari 2024 steeg het ouderschapsverlof met 9,8%, terwijl het totaal aantal onderbrekingsuitkeringen met 2,1% toenam, wat overeenkomt met een totaal van 242.961 uitkeringen in de verschillende stelsels van tijdskrediet (private sector), loopbaanonderbreking (publieke sector) en thematische verloven (private en publieke sector).
