In 2023 zijn er tot nu toe 28% meer jobs verloren dan in de eerste 42 weken van 2022, wat neerkomt op 22.568 verloren banen dit jaar tegenover 17.630 voor dezelfde periode in 2022. In vergelijking met 2019 is er echter nog steeds een lichte daling van 0,7% in het aantal verloren banen.
